Saturday morning April 11th, we packed a lunch and drove west to the Blue Mountains for some hiking and to ride the train in Katoomba. When we arrived and walked to the outlook, it was very foggy and misty. But it soon lifted and we could see cliffs in the distance and the beautiful Jamison Valley.
Right next to Blue Mountains National Park is “Scenic World”, where we rode the steepest train in the world, a Cable Car and Skyride. The track is so steep as it goes down the side of the mountain that it feels like an amusement park ride! We went from the top of the cliffs down to a moist rain forest.
