Vietnamese restaurant. They had already invited friends from the ward and the Backs and Tolmans. It was nice to be included.
Like many of the restaurants
here, it is a small storefront on the main street of a suburb called Riverwood. It is long and narrow like a rowhouse would be. The prices were very reasonable for the generous servings. The restaurant saved money by having all the plastic glasses and silverware stacked in containers already on the table. They use boxes of Kleenex for serviettes (napkins)! It took a lot of tissues to clean up the spilled sweet chili sauce!
The flavors were different than
anything I have eaten before. I really like the fresh rolls we had as appetizers. They were shaped like a Chinese spring roll, but were wrapped in translucent rice paper and were filled with prawns and fresh greens. They were very tasty dipped in sweet chili sauce.
